The hotel is in a great location, very close to the Santa Domingo church in the old town center. It's within walking distance of all the attractions and is located in the nice part of the city center. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with very comfortable beds. I particularly loved the rooms with a large balcony or terrace, offering a great view.
All was ok.

The hotel is conveniently located just a stone's throw away from the famous Santa Domingo church. You'll find yourself very close to all the major attractions, making it easy to explore the city on foot. Plus, the rooms are thoughtfully designed with attention to detail, whether it's a balcony, a window opening to the restaurant, or a terrace.
All in all, everything was satisfactory for a pleasant stay.

We had an amazing stay at Boutique Casa Catrina. The location was outstanding, with Santa Domingo church just a few blocks away. The surrounding area was filled with great restaurants and bars, making it easy to find something delicious to eat. The staff at the hotel were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Our room was beautifully decorated and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The high beamed ceilings added a touch of elegance to the space. I would highly recommend Boutique Casa Catrina for a cozy and friendly stay in Oaxaca.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make sure guests have a comfortable stay. The location of this boutique hotel is exceptional, with everything just a short stroll away. From the beautiful and cozy rooms to the friendly and accommodating staff, the level of service here was unparalleled. Guests will also appreciate the delicious breakfast spread served each morning. Plus, the building has been renovated, making it an even more charming place to stay.
Some of the furniture in the social areas could use an update to make them more comfortable and inviting to guests.

The breakfast was decent and was served in the atrium area. The staff was attentive and prompt in serving us. The best aspect of the hotel was its location, it is situated just outside of the city which makes it a peaceful place to stay.
The hotel lacked basic amenities such as a restaurant, pool, parking lot, and service room. the rooms were dark as the windows are small and there was no privacy as it was an open-house.

We loved the hotel's location in the old town centre - close enough to walk to everything and very close to the main attractions. The staff, especially Ino, were so welcoming and friendly. The morning breakfast service was extremely efficient, and the sweet bread was delicious. The room was clean and comfortable, with a balcony to enjoy and a great view of the city street.
Nothing for us.

The hotel exceeded all of my expectations. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, and the high-end amenities made me feel truly pampered. The sauna and massage service were especially luxurious. The location was perfect for exploring the city and the in-room breakfast was a great touch.
The restaurant could use some improvement. While the food was good, the service was slow and the menu was somewhat limited.

Casa Catrina: Hospitable staff, comfortable bed and pillows, beautiful architecture, great location near Santo Domingo.
Nothing that I didn't like.

During our romantic getaway, we enjoyed the excellent service provided by the staff, who were friendly and always willing to help us. The breakfast they offered was delicious and included two complementary activities that we found to be a pleasant surprise. The hotel's location is perfect for exploring all the nearby attractions, and we enjoyed the convenience of being within walking distance of everything.
The view from our room was not the best, as it faced a government building with long lines of people waiting outside. Although it did not affect our stay negatively, it might be a concern for some guests.
